Added to these is an extraordinary Lego-themed water park, Legoland Water Park. Legoland Dubai

Legoland Dubai was the first LEGO theme park to open in the Middle East and is the ideal destination for all LEGO lovers. Frequented mainly by families with children and teenagers, Legoland features over 40 rides as well as shows and interactive experiences designed for children aged between 2 and 12 years. Among the park’s most popular areas are: Factory, Lego City and Kingdoms. If you want to stop for a break during a day in Legoland, you can find numerous restaurants serving different cuisines here.

Legoland Water Park

On the hot days that often characterise Dubai, there is nothing better than going to Legoland Water Park, the most famous LEGO-themed water park. This park has also been specially designed for youngsters, especially the 2-12 age group, who will find plenty of rides and adventures to enjoy here.

Younger children can spend time safely in the wave pool, while older children can launch themselves down the slides. The park also stimulates young guests’ creativity and manual skills by giving them the chance to build rafts or boats out of LEGO bricks.

Motiongate Dubai

Dubai Parks and Resorts is also home to Motiongate Dubai, a Hollywood-inspired theme park. It features attractions based on four major Hollywood giants: DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures, Lionsgate and The Smurfs. From the adrenaline-fuelled inverted rollercoaster that is designed for a braver adult audience to the Smurfs village that features several play areas for children, to the Motiongate Dubai everyone can spend a fun day out.

There are also numerous attractions inspired by famous colossals such as the half-pipe roller coaster inspired by the Hunger Games or the Kung Fu Panda Academy. Moreover, here you can meet some of the most famous Hollywood characters live, such as the stars of Ghostbusters, The Hunger Games, The Smurfs or Shrek.

Riverland Dubai

Riverland Dubai is a Dubai Parks and Resorts destination that can be accessed without buying a ticket. Various settings are filmed here, such as 1950s America, a medieval French town and a small but quaint Indian village.

The heart of this area is definitely the ‘Peninsula’, a square that connects the various areas via bridges and footbridges. Festivals, concerts and events are often organised here in the large open space. Riverland is full of restaurants where you can sample different international cuisines and shops where you can go shopping.

Bollywood Parks Dubai

Until April 2023, Bollywood Parks Dubai, a unique theme park, was also part of Dubai Parks and Resorts. Here one could find various settings based on the most famous Bollywood blockbusters, and also learn more about India’s long culture and history.

LEGO fans won’t want to miss out on sleeping at Legoland Hotel, which features themed rooms and suites. From rooms set in Heartlake City to those reminiscent of a pirate ship, sleeping at the Legoland Hotel is undoubtedly a unique experience. Completing the experience is the Bricks Family Restaurant where you can dine with LEGO-themed entertainment.

Another hotel located within the park is Lapita Hotel, a luxurious and elegant establishment. The accommodation offers its guests an ambience reminiscent of Polynesia with finely furnished rooms equipped with every comfort. The hotel also offers guests outdoor pools, a SPA with wellness centre and excellent restaurants.
